After reading the first few pages, I was hooked! This Christian fiction story had all the elements necessary to hold your interest; attractive, compelling characters, drama, love, friendship, betrayal, tears and a great ending. I didn't want to put the book down because I wanted to know what would happen next. Looking forward to next book in the series to get a peek into the lives of the characters today.

I was beyond thankful for the One-on-One Workshop for Single Woman with Terri Smalls. It was definitely divine intervention. She is an amazing woman of God and prayer warrior. This book was such a great read! I enjoyed reading about how the main character remained faithful to God and her husband without fail. I'd definitely recommend it to others! If you enjoy great Christian fiction, this is the book for you!

About Terri
Terri is a Church Mother, Christian Writer, Author, Mentor and Workshop Facilitator. She is currently working on a sequel to Prostrate Before Him. She has worked in Ministry full time for over 10 years. She has also had her own women's ministry for over 15 years. Terri is the mother of a 29-year-old daughter. She is a Mental Health Therapist who is extremely passionate about empowering people in Mental Health. They are Native New Yorkers, who relocated to North Carolina about 15 years ago.
Terri is very passionate about encouraging women, especially the younger generation. God has guided Terri through many of her own storms. Some previous trials in her life have included unemployment, divorce after 20 years of marriage, emergency surgeries, her doctor informing her of a diagnosis that made him sure she did not have much more time to live with or without surgery. This Specialist doctor informed her of this through eyes filled with tears. It was a time she did not think she would live through - ALL taking place around the same time. All taking place weeks of agreeing to a divorce. All taking place while living in an area where she had no biological family.
Dearest Sister in Christ,
I’ve been keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers, especially knowing how heavy things can be in life today. I know the waves are hitting hard right now and the wind feels exhausting, but I wanted to write you this short note to remind you of something so steady: you are not walking through this alone. It is so easy to feel overwhelmed when the storm is loud, but God promises to be right there in the middle of it with you. In Isaiah 43:2, He says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you." Notice He doesn't say if we face hard times, but when—and His promise is that the water will not drown you. He goes before you to clear the path, and when your own strength runs completely empty, He promises to hold you up with His strong right hand.
You don't have to carry the heavy weight of this season all by yourself, nor do you have to have everything figured out today. It’s okay to just pause, take a deep breath, and let Him fight this battle for you (Exodus 14:14). Hand Him those worries piece by piece in prayer, and let His peace—the kind that doesn't even make sense when things are hard—guard your heart and mind.
This storm is just a chapter in your story, not the final page. You are so deeply loved, fiercely prayed for, and held fast by a God who will never let you go.
